Dexplore
main navigation:Victoria Street is perhaps the most beautiful Edinburgh shopping Streets, swooping down from George IV Bridge to the Grassmarket it is populated by cool colourful shops and Bars, including the fascinating antiques shops at the foot of the street and the best cheesemonger in Edinburgh (what a wonderful smell!). Victoria Terrace, where this photo is taken from, is a long run of open air cafes and bars where you can sit and enjoy a fine array of food, and there’s an entrance at the far end to the Castle Arms, where you can enjoy 10% off your dinner bill, and a special backpackers menu when you present your Dexplore deck.
Almost certainly the tallest club in Scotland, Espionage takes in 5 different international flavours, one on each floor - 4 stylish bars and 1 underground club in the Basement. There are 2 ways in: from the top end of Victoria Street and from the Cowgate at the bottom. It’s quite a handy shortcut, in fact, and you can’t avoid having fun on the way with fun-loving staff serving shooters by the tree (just ask) and a cosy dancefloor downstairs where anything goes. It’s free to get in, and open until 3am every night. For details of events current special offers and promos, or to see if you got in the online photo album go to www.espionage007.co.uk.
