The West End

The Clock in the picture is on the wall of Frasers department store, and marks a popular meeting place. When you under it you are at a major Edinburgh junction, The Castle towers above you, the Georgian grandeur of Charlotte Square is just a Stone’s throw away, and you can sense the hubbub of the many sophisticated nightspots of George Street and the West End.

Newly updated and extended, Berlin’s newest manifestation is the new West End super-club, with cool colour-changing lighting and great tunes. It’s a big, sexy, cosy, laid-back place that’s sophisticated and cool without ostentatious self-consciousness.
