The Royal Botanic Gardens

Originally established as a garden for growing medicinal plants, The Royal Botanic Gardens are the product of hundreds of years of travelling Scots who brought back specimens of the weird and wonderful plants of the world from its furthest flung corners. Here they are preserved together in a beautifully designed public garden with rockpools and waterfalls, and its own tropical rainforest! The Glasshouse contains towering palms and hanging vines, as well as a small aquarium. There is a small charge to pay for entry to the Glasshouse, but entry to the gardens is free.

There are points of interest about all sort of plants posted up around the place, and the squirrels will be you best friends for a bit of bread.

At the main visitor centre there is a café serving snacks and refreshments, and the shop is full of great gift ideas. What is more you can claim 10% off on your purchases in the shop when you present this deck.
