The Meadows

The Meadows is massive. Seriously big. Roll on summertime when the huge lawns are full of easy-going Edinburgh types chilling out, relaxing in the sunshine. In Festival time the Meadows are busily thronging with tents, acts, music, jugglers and revellers, enjoying the Festival feeling away from the packed crowds of the City Centre. The perfect place to let off some steam and run about with a ball or a Frisbee.

Closer to George Square and Potterrow, next to the mosque, Native State is a big place with a lungy atmosphere, great food and big comfortable leather chairs to sit back in. Cool décor, lively atmosphere, good nachos and chargrilled dishes, and decked out with a fun-loving student crew.
