The Filmhouse

Go to the West End of Princes Street and take a left down Lothian Road, just before the Carlton Hotel. Walk for 5 minutes and you will see The Filmhouse on your right.

This important venue is a bastion of world Cinema in the City, and home to the Edinburgh International Film Festival there’s a great café and bar inside where you can relax before or after the film, and in the entrance foyer there is a great range of arthouse and foreign film DVDs and filmy stuff for sale that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Dexplorers can look forward to a special offer of 2 tickets for the price of 1 on early screenings (between 4 and 7 pm) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
