Broughton Street

Just before the far East end of Queen Street, within easy reach of the City Centre this vibrant street runs down the hill, just nudging into the New Town. The area is well equipped with Gay-friendly bars but not exclusively so, and Broughton Street is generally a very laid-back place to hang out.

The Street

This all-welcoming bar at the top of Broughton Street is a bustling hive of activity with great tunes, and a relaxed, sophisticated feel to it.

The Globe Deli

Half way down Broughton Street, this is a great, affordable place to grab a bite to eat. Sandwiches and fresh coffee are the house specialities.

Mezz

At the bottom of Broughton Street is this cool place with comfy leather sofas, made for a good chat over a good drink and a tasty plateful rather than for dancing. The cocktails in particular have something of a reputation, and the food comes in satisfying portions to quell those hungry vibes.
