Singapore Guide
A unique city brimming with energy, Singapore is a thriving hub of commerce and industry, but is equally rich in culture and the city boasts spectacles in the arts, architecture, cuisine, nightlife & attractions.
During the 11th century, legend has it that a Sri Vijayan prince spotted an animal he mistakenly took to be a Lion on the small island previously known as Pu-luo-chung, earning itself a new name - Singa Pura or Lion City. Singapore is made up of one main island (682 km sq) and 63 surrounding islets. Skyskrapers and a bustling business hub stand side by side with beautiful gardens and traditional culture. The unique nature, excellent location, fascinating culture and a mutitude of attractions and interesting sights make Singapore one of the worlds top destinations for both business and pleasure.
